On February 7th the 2nd grade classes had the opportunity to expand on their Science lessons by participating in the Physical Changes of Matter workshop put on by the Discovery Museum. This exciting workshop allows students to learn about the processes that turn matter into solid, liquids or gas! They were able to see great demonstrations and also try some hands-on experiments, plus they learned some new science words such as ‘sublimation’.
Big thanks to the Bell Cultural Enrichment Committee for making sure Bell 2nd graders had this fun learning opportunity!
This workshop is fully funded by volunteer hours at the Magic Hat from Bell families. Please consider volunteering an hour or two so we can keep these great programs at Bell School!
